How Omira collects, uses and protects the personal and clinical data you entrust to us. This policy is effective as of August 2026.

1. Information we collect

Account information such as your name, professional credentials, work email and password when you create a therapist workspace.
Clinical data you record, including session notes, care plans, assessments and patient documentation that you enter into the platform.
Usage data such as pages visited, features used, device and browser information, and aggregated performance metrics.
Communication data from support inquiries and messages you send to us.

To provide, maintain and improve the Omira platform and its AI features.
To draft clinical documentation and power the AI digital twin based on the information you provide within your workspace.
To ensure compliance with the professional and legal obligations that apply to you and to us.
To respond to support requests and communicate product updates that are relevant to you.

We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable local law.
Where you hold or process clinical data, you act as the controller for your clients' data and Omira acts as a processor under your instructions.
We rely on the legitimate interest of operating and improving our services, on your consent where requested, and on performance of our contract with you.
You may withdraw consent at any time, which does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

We do not sell your personal data or your clinical data.
We share data only with service providers that help us operate the platform, such as hosting and infrastructure providers, under binding data-processing agreements.
We may disclose data where required by law or to protect the rights, safety and property of Omira, our users or the public.
Your clinical notes are never used to train models for third parties without your consent.

We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide the service and fulfil the purposes described in this policy.
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and regular security reviews.
When you delete data from your workspace, we take reasonable steps to remove it from active systems in line with applicable law.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you.
You may object to or restrict certain processing, and request the portability of your data.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
